A little garden with big dreams.

Wife, homeowner, gardener, and mom to two lovable German Shepherds. Life gets busy, as life tends to. My favorite way to relax and have a little "me" time is in the garden. Whether it's raking leaves or planting that rose bush I've been eyeing for weeks, there is something therapeutic about working in the garden. 

 

The Garden @ 902 blog was created so I could track how my garden changes year to year and how I've grown as a gardener. 

 

My interest in gardening started in 2011 from a $1 pack of morning glory seeds I grew in a pot on a patio in my apartment. I proudly care for a 700 square foot pollinator garden to help in the conservation of Iowa native pollinators including bees and butterflies.
